Council is aware of the discovery of a Fire Ants nest at the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre and is supporting the NSW Government’s response. The NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) has implemented its biosecurity response and will be providing regular updates to Council and the community.
Repair, Reinvent and Reimagine with Slogue
As part of Council's commitment to supporting a circular economy, we're excited to welcome Slogue to this year's Strathfield Spring Festival.
Join this free drop-in experience and learn practical clothing repair and visible mending skills while exploring creative ways to extend the life of your garments. Using reclaimed textiles and embellishments, participants can repair, personalise or completely reinvent their clothing.
Bring along a garment you'd like to work on, or try your hand at transforming one of Slogue's rescued T-shirts.
Come along, learn a new skill and help keep textiles out of landfill.
