Exhibition of the draft Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan

The draft Master Plan explores opportunities to:

create exceptional public spaces, including a larger, greener Strathfield Square
expand and diversify the retail and dining offering
transform The Boulevarde into a vibrant, green destination
support local businesses, investment and jobs
improve walking, connections and access to public transport
create a welcoming, people-focused bus interchange
deliver diverse housing, including affordable housing
celebrate Strathfield’s heritage and cultural diversity
promote design excellence
position Strathfield Town Centre as a premium Inner West destination—a place to visit, linger and live.

The draft Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan will be on public exhibition from Monday 21 September to Friday 18 December 2026.

Master Plan Community Information Session

Council is hosting a Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan Information Session. This is an opportunity to learn more about the draft Master Plan, ask questions and speak directly with Council’s Planning Team.
