Changes to Additional Waste Service

Council has recently identified that some properties are receiving an additional waste service at no charge. Following a recent review, we wish to inform residents that any additional services not currently paid for will be discontinued 30 days after 1 July 2025. This step is necessary to ensure fairness and to manage the costs of delivering waste services in line with the funding provided by our community through the Domestic Waste Management service charges.

For reference, the standard waste service provided for single dwellings by Council includes:

  • One (1) 120L red lid general waste bin
  • One (1) 240L yellow lid recycling bin
  • One (1) 240L green lid garden bin

If your property is receiving additional bins beyond this standard service at no cost, we kindly ask that these additional bin(s) be placed on the kerbside for collection by Council no later than 31 July 2025. Bins not presented for collection may be assumed to be in use, and your property may then be charged the relevant fee as outlined in the table below.
