George Street Pedestrian Bridge is to commence construction in North Strathfield on 4 November 2024, and completion is expected by 16 December 2024, weather permitting. This new 3m wide pedestrian bridge is to span 16m over Powells Creek connecting Aldi Car Park and Ismay Reserve.
 

Funded by PRUAIP (Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program), the installation of this pedestrian bridge is expected to be completed in December 2024. Lighting artwork will be installed by a specialist artwork contractor following the installation of the bridge structure to be completed by 25 February 2025.
