Strathfield Council has secured $500,000 through the NSW Government’s Permit/Plug/Play Program, led by Transport for NSW, to make temporary street events easier and more affordable to organise.
The project aims to simplify event approvals and provide practical improvements at identified locations, helping bring people together and support local businesses.
Council has identified these locations for the project. Community feedback will help refine the proposed improvements and inform how the spaces could be used for events.

The sound system, performance platform, tables and chairs can be used at both locations.
