The Return and Earn machine located at Strathfield Town Centre car park (located at 5 Churchill Avenue, Strathfield) is being removed. The last day of service will be 7pm, Tuesday 13 May 2025.
Removal and restoration works will take place on Wednesday 14 May 2025.
Network operator TOMRA Cleanaway is working to finalise a new location for a replacement local return point. Anyone interested in hosting a return point is encouraged to reach out to TOMRA Cleanaway Customer Service on 1800 290 691.
Eligible drink containers can be returned at the following local return points:
- Return and Earn Express Burwood machine - 197 Burwood Road, Burwood
- Return and Earn Express North Strathfield - 173 Concord Road, North Strathfield
- Sydney/Paddy’s Market Flemington - 318 Parramatta Rd, Homebush West
- Homebush Cellars Return and Earn (over the counter) - 5 Rochester St, Homebush
Strathfield residents are enthusiastic recyclers, having returned over 75.2 million drink containers through local return points since the scheme began in 2017.
