Augustus Loftus Reserve
History
Augustus Loftus Reserve was opened 22 December 2016 as a public park and named in honour of Sir Augustus Loftus, Governor of NSW (1879-1885). Sir Loftus proclaimed Strathfield Council incorporated 2 June 1885. The area the park sits on was originally 2 houses, which were demolished to establish the park as per a council resolution.
