Heart Foundation AED Information Session
The Heart Foundation and Strathfield Council are running a free information session on how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and how to provide Basic Life Support care in emergency situations.
This session aims to increase awareness about what is cardiac arrest and how to respond to emergency situations by giving you the skills and confidence to save lives.
According to the Heart Foundation, coronary heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Australia, accounting for over 17,000 deaths each year. Their mission is to improve heart attack survival rates through first aid education, improved AED accessibility and continued research.
