Strathfield Council is considering a proposed suburb boundary change:

Where is the change proposed: The area south of the railway line (including Strathbelle Apartments) would move from Homebush to Strathfield.

This change aims to:

  • Provide a clearer and more logical boundary (aligned with the railway line and major roads)
  • Reduce confusion for residents, visitors, businesses, and emergency services
  • Strengthen community identity
