The Crescent (Bridge Road to Subway Lane) and Subway Lane (The Crescent to Loftus Crescent) –Construction of bike path.
Completion Date – 15 December 2026 weather permitting
Strathfield Council have engaged a contractor to undertake the Construction of bike path. The works will be undertaken by EzyPave Pty Ltd on behalf of Strathfield Council.
What is happening?
Work is scheduled to start on 21st September 2026 and will be completed by 15th December 2026, subject to weather conditions.
Construction will generally take place Monday to Sunday from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am (night works).
However, some work will take place during the day from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm due to the nature of the work.
To facilitate the various work activities and keep everyone safe, trained traffic controllers will assist in directing people during this period. There will minor interruption to traffic and temporary loss of street parking, however, we will endeavour to keep the inconveniences to a minimum.
Please be assured that every effort will be made to minimise disruption whilst works are underway, and Council appreciates your cooperations regarding moving your vehicle from the work area should you be notified by the Contractor to ensure faster delivery of works.
