Help shape the future of Strathfield Town Centre
Exhibition of the draft Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan
Strathfield Town Centre is entering an exciting new chapter—and we want you to be part of it.
Council has prepared a draft Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan that sets out a bold, long-term vision for a more vibrant, welcoming and connected town centre. It explores opportunities for new and improved public spaces, better walking and transport connections, more homes and businesses, and new community and civic facilities.
The draft Master Plan presents three options that progressively build on each other to deliver an increasingly ambitious vision for the Town Centre—from focused improvements to public spaces and connections, through to a bold transformation featuring an underground bus interchange and a significantly larger Strathfield Square.
It also includes a draft Planning Framework to guide future development, including proposed building heights, floor space ratios, land uses and design requirements. The aim is to ensure future growth delivers high-quality buildings, better public spaces and meaningful benefits for the community.
The draft Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan will be on public exhibition from late September 2026. Further information about the exhibition, community activities and how to have your say will be available soon.
