The bridge across the Cooks River at Strathfield South was once known as Moore’s Bridge, named after landholder, Thomas Moore.
Ten Mile Hill
Ten Mile Hill was the name used for the hill on Liverpool Road near Centenary Drive and Roberts Road. The Tenth Milestone from Sydney was located nearby.
Oldsmobile v Roller
In November 1959 this oldsmobile collided with a council street roller on Liverpool Road, Strathfield South. The tennis courts were replaced the following year with the Enfield Bowling Centre.

St Neot on Liverpool Road Strathfield South was built in the early 1880s and was formerly known as Langham.
The Maudholme Estate
The 20 lots of the Maudholme Estate were offered at auction in April 1908. Most of the federation-style cottages still stand.
