Email Rates Notice Registration
There are several ways Council can send rate notices to you. Click on one of the below tabs to find out more information.
There is no charge for this service.
When entering your rates account/reference number, please ensure you enter the number as it appears on your rates/instalment notice.
Receiving rates notices by email
The software used to send the notices is called Payreq. With Payreq you can set automatic reminders, as well as check due dates and amounts owing at any time.
Step 1. Create your account
Step 2. Log in to register
Click ‘Add New Biller’ and register for Strathfield Council (49148)
Step 3. Select Email Option
Select ‘to register for Email’
Step 4. Enter requested information
Refer to your Strathfield Council rates notice to enter the required information, including the email address you’d like your rates notice delivered to.

Receiving bulk rates notices (for property managers)
If you’re a property manager, we can provide digital Council rates notices to eliminate scanning and manual data entry.
Simply set up a profile with our email software provider, Payreq, and we can send bill data for all your managed properties.

Receiving your rates notices into accounting software (for businesses)
You can organise to have our Council rates delivered directly to your accounts receivable software – Xero, MYOB and many more.
Step 1. Create your account
Step 2. Log in and add new biller
Click ‘ Add New Biller’ and register for Strathfield Council (49148)
Step 3. Register software
Register for your Accounting Software
Step 4. Connect account and enter information
Connect your account. Enter the information requested from your Strathfield Council rates notice including the email address you’d like the rates notice delivered to.

Receiving your rates notices via BPAY View
BPAY offers a service called BPAY View, which lets you manage your bills through the online bank account you use to payment.
Once you set up BPAY View, your bank then sends you a reminder about your rates by email, SMS or through its own messaging system.
Step 1. Log into your online banking account
Not all banks offer BPAY View – you can find out if yours does on this page of the BPAY website.
Step 2. Look for the BPAY View or View Bills section
