Transport Access Program at Homebush Station

The Transport Access Program is a NSW Government initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure.

Transport for NSW is making changes at Homebush Station to improve access for customers.

The project includes new lifts and upgraded stairs, including the installation of new canopies along the existing footbridge and lift landings for weather protection, and upgraded station entrances. Also included are formalised ‘kiss and ride’ zones on The Crescent and Loftus Crescent, a new taxi rank plus two new accessible parking spaces on The Crescent.

Construction is now underway and will take up to 18 months to complete.

For further information on the station upgrade, please visit the project webpage or phone the Project Infoline on 1800 684 490.
