TfNSW Road Works Along Parramatta Road – Homebush West

Transport for NSW will carry out concrete surface repairs on the westbound lanes of Parramatta Road between Telopea Avenue, Homebush West and Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe.

Staff will be on site for up to eight night shifts between Sunday 12 September and Friday 1 October, weather permitting. Work hours will be between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Friday.

How will the work affect you?
Work needs to be carried out at night to minimise disruption to traffic and reduce safety risks to workers and motorists.

Work may be noisy at times but TfNSW will do everything they can to minimise its impact, including installing noise blankets around the work zone when noisier activities such as jack hammering and saw cutting are carried out. TfNSW will also stage their work at different sections along the road so that nearby residents will not be impacted by noise for more than two nights per week, or more than six nights in a month.

These works are in line with the current Public Health Orders and a COVID-19 Safe plan is in place, including face masks and QR codes.

Traffic changes
There will be some temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Carriageway closures will be in place and may affect travel times. Access will be maintained for buses and local businesses.

Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
