Under section 40A of the Local Government Act, Council was required to hold a public hearing concerning land categorisations of the areas of the Bressington Park owned by Council.  The Public Hearing was required because it was the first  Plan of Management for Bressington Park. The Crown Land areas in Bressington Park were exempt from this requirement.

The Public Hearing was held on 1 May 2023.  Council received no submissions regarding the proposed land categorisation.
