Draft Planning Agreement at 15-17 Columbia Lane, Homebush

Under the provisions of Section 7.5 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act 1979) and Section 204 of the Environmental Planning Assessment Regulation 2021 (EP&A Regulations 2021), notice is herby given of Strathfield Council’s intention to enter into a Planning Agreement with JQZ FOUR PTY LIMITED. The Planning Agreement relates to land identified as Lot 1 in Deposited Plan 1262011 and known as 15-17 Columbia Lane, Homebush

The objective of the Planning Agreement is to facilitate the delivery by the Developer to Council of eight (8) residential units and their associated parking spaces and storage spaces for the purposes of public housing. The public benefit to be provided under the Planning Agreement is the provision of new public housing, vested in Council and available to meet housing needs of the community.

As per the requirements of the EP&A Regulations 2021, the Planning Agreement will be available for a period of 28 days on Council’s website. Any submissions made must be submitted by 8 February 2024 and addressed to council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au and attentioned to J Gillies, Senior Planner.
