2-6 Pilgrim Avenue and 9-13 Albert Road, Strathfield
Council, at its meeting on 5 May 2020, resolved to adopt site specific DCP No.26 – 2-6 Pilgrim Avenue and 9-13 Albert Road, Strathfield. The DCP was a specific requirement of the Gateway Determination for the Planning Proposal to increase the height and floor space ratio controls for the subject sites.
Council adopted the site specific DCP at this meeting, which is to become effective once the amendments to the Strathfield Local Environmental Plan, the subject of the Planning Proposal, have been gazetted.
The amendments to Strathfield LEP 2012 (Amendment No.13) were gazetted on Friday 17 July 2020 and the changes to FSR and Height and now effective.
Site specific DCP 26 has been prepared to reflect the detailed urban design considerations for the future redevelopment of the site.
Pursuant to Clause 21(2) of the EP&A Regulations 2000, Strathfield Council is required to give public notice of the adoption of the Development Control Plan. The site specific Development Control Plan No. 26 comes into effect from the date of this notice on Council’s website.
