Strathfield Park is mainly Crown Land (land owned by the NSW Government dedicated for community use) and is managed by Strathfield Council. Due to changes to legislation, new plans of management must be prepared for Crown Land.

As part of this process, Council will be preparing a new Plan of Management and Park Masterplan for Strathfield Park.  These two plans involve community consultation and will guide the park’s management and future development.

Once the initial community consultation is complete, all feedback and suggestions from the community and park users will be compiled and assessed, and will inform the new plans.

Council distributed a survey in August and September to gather feedback from the community, with 280 responses received. This feedback will be reviewed over the coming months and inform the Masterplan. Council would like to thank all residents who made a submission.
