Ironbark Gallery Exhibits Elementals – Stefanie Ferguson

Strathfield Council is excited to announce the Ironbark Gallery’s upcoming exhibition comprising of ceramic artworks, which will be open to members of the public from 11 February to 10 April.

Elementals explores the intersection of drawing and ceramics in Stefanie Ferguson’s artistic practice; ranging from mark making – drawing – and texture – ceramics. These drawings are an investigation of line, texture and colour of living organisms and natural formations.

Each work tells a story of growth, peak and decay, representing the life cycle of living matter as well as exploring themes of love, fertility, and loss through the symbolic use of colour, composition and scale.

Elementals provides the viewer with a unique insight into Stefanie’s artistic process and dedication to the mediums of both drawing and ceramics.

The exhibition runs from 11 February through to 10 April at the Ironbark Gallery located within the Strathfield Council Library & Innovation Hub, 65 – 67 Rochester Street, Homebush.
