17 – 20 Loftus Crescent Homebush

Proposal:

The proposal seeks to maintain the “B4 Mixed Use” zoning and to amend the Strathfield LEP 2012 to allow for the development of the site for the purpose of high density housing by increasing the maximum height of the building from 16 metres on 17 Loftus Crescent, and 20 metres on 18 & 19 Loftus Crescent to 75 metres. It also seeks to amend the floor space ratio from 2.7:1 on 17, 18 and 19 Loftus Crescent and 2.25:1 on 20 Loftus Crescent to 3.6:1.

The Proposal will include 92 residential units and a retail component made up of:

  • 6x studio units
  • 33x 1 bedroom units
  • 7x 1 bedroom and studio units
  • 31x 2 bedroom units
  • 15x 2 bedroom and studio units
  • 230m² of retail space on the ground floor
