Calling all Strathfield Youth!

For immediate release

5 February 2018

Strathfield Council is hosting a Youth Summit on Saturday 24 February 2018 at Strathfield Town Hall.

If you’re aged 15-25, the Strathfield Youth Summit is an opportunity for you to help shape the vision for Strathfield over the next 10 years.

The summit will feature a number of empowering opportunities to gain new skills and share ideas through industry expert facilitated Skill Exchange Labs and interactive consultation activities. Attendees will look at ideas surrounding land use planning, urban design and sustainability.

Strathfield Young Citizen of the Year, Leon Rettie has encouraged his peers to participate. Leon said “the Strathfield Youth Summit is a great way for the youth of the Strathfield area to play an integral part in shaping the future of Strathfield, ensuring the area continues to be the best that it can be for many years into the future”.

Be an active member of your community and create a lasting legacy for Strathfield!

Movie passes and certificates of participation are available for those who attend.
