In November 1959 this oldsmobile collided with a council street roller on Liverpool Road, Strathfield South. The tennis courts were replaced the following year with the Enfield Bowling Centre.
Hector of Homebush
The celebrated horse, Hector, who sired many quality racehorses, was owned by D’Arcy Wentworth of Homebush Farm where he died in 1823.
