Strathfield Council Installs Free, Fast Public Charger
For immediate release
13 October 2021
Strathfield Council is pleased to announce that in partnership with JOLT, another free electric vehicle charging station has been installed on Richmond Road, Strathfield.
Doug McNamee, CEO of JOLT said, “We are thrilled to be rolling out our fast, free charging network across Sydney. With other 100,000 km already given out for free we know that drivers will love the JOLT network. Drivers can save over $1,000 per year charging with JOLT.”
JOLT provides the first 7kWh for free from 25kW DC electric vehicle charging services. To access the chargers, the free JOLT app will need to be downloaded from https://jolt.com.au/start
Council is committed to a more environmentally-friendly future and is proud to take part in this project that aims to reduce community transport related emissions and encourage a more sustainable option for residents through the uptake of electric vehicles.
Electric vehicles create less air and noise pollution, and when powered by renewable energy, which JOLT produces 100% of its energy from, produce less climate altering greenhouse gases.
