Strathfield Council has released its April School Holiday program, including a range of outdoor and library activities, as well as activities for children with special needs.

The program runs between April 14 and 24, and features activities that encourage physical activity and developing new skills, while offering children the opportunity to interact with their peers in a fun environment.

Children can explore their creative side in a series of workshops using recycled materials to make new things, get active with orienteering or dance classes and learn to work in groups with team building activities.

All activities are open to primary school aged children living in the Strathfield Council area or those who attend school in the area. Library activities in the program are available at no cost, with other activities available for $3 per session.

Bookings can be made by returning the registration form to council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au, post to PO Box 120, Strathfield NSW 2135 or to Council at 65 Homebush Road, Strathfield. Registrations close on 4 April, 2014.
