2021 Winter Food Appeal

Share the gift of kindness this winter!
Strathfield Council is launching the 2021 Winter Food Appeal from Tuesday 1 June – Wednesday 30 June to help people in our community who are in need of a helping hand. Council encourages Strathfield residents to join the initiative and support those who are doing it tough this winter.
Your generosity will enable members of our community to keep their stomachs full and warm. You can help by donating items including non-perishable food (such as cereals, pasta, noodles, long life milk, rice, tinned food, tea and coffee), toiletries and cleaning supplies.
Donations will be distributed to organisations working with disadvantaged and homeless people in and near our Local Government Area, including local charities such as St Merkorious Charity and St Pauls Parish Pantry.

Council is also encouraging local schools to get involved and set up a collection point by calling 02 9748 9999.
