Messages of Condolence from the Strathfield Council Community
It was with great sadness to the people of Strathfield local government area, and around the world, to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022.
On behalf of the Strathfield community, Strathfield Mayor and Councillors wish to extend their deepest condolences to the Royal Family during this time of immense loss.
Flags will be flown at half-mast to mark the death of Her Majesty, who will be remembered for her 70 years of loyal and unwavering commitment to those she served as the longest reigning British monarch.
Council will be guided by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in regards to further protocols.
