Battle of Kapyong Memorial Service
Council and the Cumberland RSL Sub-branch invite you to the inaugural Battle of Kapyong Memorial Service which will be held on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at Ismay Reserve, Homebush from 11am. This service is an acknowledgement of the participation and sacrifices of Australian soldiers in key battles, including the Battle of Kapyong in 1951, during the Korean War.
The service will include the dedication of a new memorial to honour the sacrifice of those who fought at Kapyong.
There will also be a special performance by the 344 Musicians Flight, Australian Airforce Cadets Band at Strathfield Square from 2pm - 3pm.
