Christmas Carols is back for 2024!

This family fun-filled event will see Strathfield Park turned into a Christmas wonderland with a carols stage program, face painting, jumping castle and more. Plus keep your eyes peeled for a visit and photo with the Big Man in the Red Suit…

A special Christmas themed Movies in the Park screening of The Grinch (2000) will be sure to get the kids in the Christmas spirit.

A FREE shuttle bus service will be running from Strathfield Station to Strathfield Park approx. every 30 minutes from 5:30pm – 10pm.

Pick up and drop off stops:

  • Strathfield Station (kiss and ride area)
  • Strathfield Park (corner of Gelling Ave & Homebush Rd)

Look out for the 'Shuttle Bus' signs!

Cycling

Ditch the car and ride your bicycle!

Strathfield Park is accessible from many directions, including along the roads, Homebush Road and Chalmers Road.

Pathways

Strathfield Park has cemented pathways throughout the park, leading to all facilities. Each synthetic grass field also has a pathway all around their borders. The pathways are suitable for prams, wheelchairs and other devices to assist with movement.

Accessible Parking

Disabled parking spaces are available along the park boundary on Chalmers Road.

Accessible bathrooms are located in all three of the amenities buildings on site.

Food and Drinks

There is a kiosk on the Homebush Road side of the park, near the playground, where food and drinks can be purchased. Limited food options are available during the event.

Council staff are on hand during events to assist visitors.
