INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT – DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION NO. DA2024.124
Council wishes to inform you of the abovementioned Development Application as you are the owner/occupier of land which adjoins or is in the vicinity of the affected development site.
A Development Application in relation to the subject site has been lodged by Chanine Design Pty Limited for Integrated Development - Demolition of existing structures and the construction of a nine (9) storey in-fill affordable housing mixed use development comprising ground level commercial premises and a 120 place childcare centre with 132 residential apartments, above three (3) levels of basement car parking at 41-47 Punchbowl Road, Strathfield South.
Pursuant to Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, the proposed development is defined as Integrated Development and requires the consent of WaterNSW under the Water Management Act 2000.
Council encourages you to view the application, associated documentation and plans from Council’s website at https://datracker.strathfield.nsw.gov.au. The application may also be viewed online at Council’s Customer Service Centre between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays) until 18 November 2024.
Should you wish to make a written submission, the grounds of any objection should be clearly stated with your name and address printed on the letter. If you do not provide your details, your submission will be included and considered, however we will not be sending an acknowledgement letter and you will not be informed of the outcome. It should be noted that submissions will be made publicly available and may be referred to in a report to Council. Submissions should quote the DA reference number and Address at the top of this letter and be addressed to the General Manager and posted or sent by email to council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au before 5:00pm on 18 November 2024.
Please note that a person who makes a submission may also need to disclose reportable political donations and gifts made to a Councillor or employee of Council, as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
