Vote for Your Favourite Local Community Project

Strathfield Council is pleased to support two submissions for the Community Projects state government grant!
Harmony Kitchen aims to bring diverse cultures of Strathfield together through sharing common ingredients. The project provides new residents with opportunities to share their culture and empowers the local community to make connections, access services and create a sense of belonging.
The Strathfield-Homebush District Historical Society proposes to install a public artwork in Homebush to commemorate the former 18th century Homebush Racecourse. The artwork will become a landmark in the local area revealing an aspect of our area’s rich history whilst promoting conversations of past lives and history.
Residents are encouraged to vote for their favourite project by Thursday 15 August 2019. Voting can be completed online at https://mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au/
