Get ready for the evolution of transport! Strathfield Council is ‘electrifying’ car parks at Strathfield Town Centre, Homebush West Town Centre and Bressington Park by installing a Level 2 electric vehicle charging station to keep you topped up while out and about.
The EO Genius smart chargers will have a universal socket, compatible with all plug-in vehicle brands.
Charging at our stations costs $0.40 per kWh. Payment is made easy with EO’s app and RFID or QR code, enabling you to pay for your session hassle free.
Installation of all electric vehicle charging stations are anticipated to be completed by the end of February.
With encouragement of sustainable practices at the forefront of this project it aims to reduce community transport related emissions and improve local air quality through the uptake of electric vehicles.
Council is committed to a more environmentally-friendly future and excited to provide this sustainable option for locals and visitors.
