Strathfield Australia Day Celebrations are coming up on Saturday 26 January!
Join Strathfield Council to celebrate and welcome our newest citizens in the area and acknowledge local outstanding individuals. The 2019 Strathfield Citizen of the Year Awards will be hosted to provide recognition to those who make noteworthy contributions to the community and undertake environmental initiatives.
Strathfield Australia Day Celebrations will take place at Strathfield Park from 8.30am – 1.00pm, starting with a citizenship ceremony and an award presentation. Award recipients in all categories will be announced on the day.
Following the formal proceedings, there will be a community barbeque, jumping castle, face painting and fun children’s activities hosted by Life Be In It. Complete your day with the popular reptile display featuring creatures such as the Blue Tongue Lizard, Bearded Dragons and a Saltwater Crocodile
