The countdown is on to the Strathfield’s Food Festival on October 23.

Hosted by Strathfield Council and part of the Crave Sydney International Food Festival, Strathfield Square will come to life with the tastes and scents of Asian Fusion.

The Strathfield Food Festival will celebrate Asian Fusion with live cooking demonstrations from top Korean chefs, including award winning Adelaide chef Chung Jae Lee and Seoul of Sydney Korean chef group.

Plus there will be beer and wine tastings and some of Strathfield’s leading restaurants will be sell their signature dishes for the hungry crowds.

Mayor of Strathfield, Cr Paul Barron said the food festival will be a unique event for Strathfield.

“The Strathfield Food Festival will bring the best tastes of Asian cuisines on to the streets of Strathfield, Cr Barron said.

“Food has a unique ability to bring people and communities together and Strathfield is very proud of its vast selection of quality Asian restaurants.

“The feature of the festival will be the live cooking demonstrations and as a part of the Crave Sydney festival, we’re expecting to attract a huge crowd.”
