Strathfield Council is inviting community groups and not for profit organisations to apply for funding for creative and innovative projects through the Community Grants Program.

The program provides funding of up to $1500 for local community groups to assist with the implementation of one off projects that support the Strathfield community.

Projects that are eligible for the program include the development of services, facilities or events that enhance the community, cultural and environmental needs of the Strathfield area. This year, the program has been expanded to include projects aimed at enhancing sport and recreation in the area.

Applicants must be community groups that are based or provide services in the Strathfield local government area. Applications close on October 1.
