Strathfield Council has begun taking registrations for the popular program of Seniors Week activities from March 14-22.

Council will run a series of activities as part of the program, including line dancing, legal and wellness workshops, cultural activities and musical performances.

Mayor of Strathfield, Cr Gulian Vaccari is encouraging all seniors in the Strathfield community to get involved and register for events on the program.

“Strathfield Council is proud to acknowledge the importance of the seniors in our community. Seniors Week is a great opportunity for seniors in the area to enjoy social occasions and try new activities,” said Cr Vaccari.

The program includes a number of free events, and others available for a small registration fee.

To make sure that everyone is able to participate in the Seniors Week program, ticket allocation will be by ballot if an event is overbooked.
