The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has launched the landmark ‘The Place You Live’ survey, seeking the community’s views on housing choice and urban design in the places they live. The survey will provide the NSW Government with key insights about current expectations and desires around housing diversity, public space and neighbourhood amenities, and will help shape the upcoming Design and Place State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP).

The survey is being conducted by independent market and social research firm Fiftyfive5, commissioned by NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. Members of the community are encouraged to provide feedback on the survey which is open from  10 – 17 September 2021.
