Request for Tender No: 03/2021 Civil Works Panel

Description: Strathfield Council invites tenders for contractors to be appointed to Council’s Civil Works Panel. Council requires, from time to time, appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to carry out certain works for Council in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

The types of civil construction works are but not limited to: milling and resheeting roads with asphaltic concrete normally AC10, removing damaged footpaths and forming and pouring new concrete footpaths, rebuilding old and/or constructing new kerb and gutters, roundabouts etc.

Successful contractors will form Council’s Civil Works Panel for a period of two (2) years.

Obtaining Documentation: Tender documents will be available from 25 March 2021 and can be accessed via Council’s electronic tendering system, Tenderlink, at www.tenderlink.com/strathfield

Lodgement: Tenders may be lodged electronically via www.tenderlink.com/strathfield (preferred method); by post to PO Box 120, Strathfield, NSW, 2135; or by hand into Council’s tender box located in Council’s Customer Service Centre, 65 Homebush Road Strathfield.

Note: Tenders submitted by post or by hand will also require submission of a full set of electronic documents (PDF) on CD, DVD or USB.

Deadline: Tenders will be accepted up until 2.00pm on 15 April 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Canvassing of any Council members or officers will disqualify tenderers from the tender process.
