TITLE: LOTS 26 & 27, SECTION 9 IN DP 400
PROPOSAL: Adaptive reuse and alterations and additions to an existing heritage listed dwelling under SLEP 2012 (Item 9) comprising a 2 level boarding house addition with 24 rooms, a manager’s room and a basement level containing 16 car parking spaces.
Council wishes to inform you of the abovementioned development application, which was refused by Council on 28 March 2019 and has since been appealed in the Land & Environment Court.
As part of the appeal process, the applicants have lodged amended plans with the Court. Prior to the amended application being considered by the Court, Council is notifying its residents of these proposed changes. The appeal in relation to the subject site has been lodged by GM Architects Pty Ltd for the adaptive reuse and alterations and additions to an existing heritage listed dwelling under SLEP 2012 (Item 9) comprising a 2 level boarding house addition with 24 rooms including, a manager’s room and a basement level containing 16 car parking spaces.

The application may also be viewed online at Council’s Customer Service Centre during our reduced hours of 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except public holidays) until 22 May 2020.
Should you wish to make a written submission, the grounds of any objection should be clearly stated with your name and address printed on the letter. If you do not provide your details, your submission will be included and considered, however we will not be sending an acknowledgement letter and you will not be informed of the outcome. It should be noted that submissions will be made publicly available and may be referred to in a report to Council. Submissions should quote the DA reference number and Address at the top of this letter and be addressed to the CEO and posted or sent by email to email@example.com before 5:00pm on 22 May 2020.
Please note that a person who makes a submission may also need to disclose reportable political donations and gifts made to a Councillor or employee of Council, as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
