Proposed Change of Traffic Restriction – Intersection of Albert Road and Allenby Crescent, Strathfield

Strathfield Council has proposed to change the existing turn restriction at the intersection of Albert Road and Allenby Crescent.

Currently, a ‘No Right Turn’ restriction is in effect from 8:30AM-9:30AM and 2:30PM-3:30PM on School Days for eastbound traffic on Albert Road (Fig 1), i.e. traffic on Albert Road turning right into Allenby Crescent. Council is proposing to change this restriction to restrict northbound vehicles on Allenby Crescent from turning right into Albert Road during the same hours (Fig 2).

The change of this restriction is to promote the use of Allenby Crescent for residents only such that the safety of all road users is prioritised.
