Transport for NSW continuously carries out landscape maintenance on King Georges Road, Wiley Avenue, Roberts Road, Centenary Drive and Marlborough Road from Blakehurst to Homebush West. This essential work is part of ongoing maintenance of the State road network.
Work includes mowing grass, trimming overgrown vegetation and trees, sweeping and collecting litter. Ride on mowers and sometimes blowers and whipper snippers will be used.
These works aim to –
- increase safety
- provide consistent driving conditions
- reduce maintenance costs
These works will commence January 2021 and will be carried out over the next six months.
Day shift hours are from between 7am – 6pm from Monday to Friday. During this time 10 night shifts will also be worked from 8pm – 5pm from Sunday to Friday.
