Exhibition of an Amendment to Strathfield Direct Development Contributions Plan 2010-2030

Council at its meeting on 5 March 2019 resolved to amend the Strathfield Direct Contributions Plan 2010-2030.

The amendment proposes to introduce a specific category for boarding house developments based on the occupancy rate of the boarding room and to adopt a more appropriate occupancy rate for secondary dwellings.

The reason for the amendment is to provide clarity and consistency in the application of s7.11 Direct Development Contributions for these development types.

The amendments to the Strathfield Direct Contributions Plan 20110-2030 will be on public exhibition from Tuesday 26 March 2019 to Wednesday 24 April 2019 at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 65 Homebush Road, Strathfield, from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.  The exhibition materials will also be displayed:

  • on Council’s website (www.strathfield.nsw.gov.au);
  • on Council’s eNews;
  • at Strathfield Main Library, 65-67 Rochester Street, Homebush (during library open hours); and
