Draft Child Protection Policy

At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 7 June 2022, Council resolved to endorse the Draft Child Protection Policy. The creation and adoption of this Policy will ensure that every person working in any capacity with Council is held to the highest standards of child safety practices to maintain the safe participation of children and young people in all Council facilities, programs and events.

The Draft Child Protection Policy will be on public exhibition from 17 June 2022 until 5pm 15 July 2022 and can be viewed online here or in person at:

• Council’s Customer Service Centre – 65 Homebush Road, Strathfield
• Strathfield Library – 65-67 Rochester Street, Homebush
