The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s draft Social Impact Assessment Guideline 2020 (the draft SIA Guideline) is now on public exhibition until Friday 27 November 2020.

The new draft Guideline will inform how social impact assessment will be undertaken for all state significant projects including State significant development, State significant infrastructure and Critical State significant infrastructure projects. 

During exhibition, the department will be hosting online information sessions. For more information about these sessions, and to register to attend, please click here. 

The department welcomes your feedback during public exhibition. Please submit your feedback using the online submission form at the Department’s Planning Portal.
