Amendment to Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy

At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 5 April 2022, Council resolved to amend its Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy as follows:

  • Inclusion of a mayoral vehicle (Clause 3.2.6)
  • Inclusion of provision to provide superannuation contribution payments (Clause 4.1.5);
  • Additional allowance of $1,500 per year per Councillor in ICT expenses
  • Removal of term ‘CEO’ and replacement with term ‘General Manager’ throughout document.

The proposed amendments are marked in blue text in the amended draft Policy which can be viewed below or in person.

The Draft Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy (April 2022) will be on public exhibition from 13 April 2022 until 5pm 11 May 2022 and can be viewed online here or in person at:

  • Council’s Customer Service Centre – 65 Homebush Road, Strathfield
  • Strathfield Library – 65-67 Rochester Street, Homebush
