Council, at its meeting on 7 May 2019, resolved to adopt the amendments to the Strathfield Direct Development Contributions Plan 2010-2030.

The amendments will introduce a specific category for boarding house developments based on the occupancy rate of the boarding room and to adopt a more appropriate occupancy rate for secondary dwellings.

Pursuant to Clause 21(2) of the EP&A Regulations 2000, Strathfield Council is required to give public notice of the adoption of the amendments to the Direct Development Contributions Plan. The amended sections to the Plan come into effect from the date of publication of this notice. The Strathfield Direct Development Contributions Plan 2010-2030, as amended may be viewed at the Strathfield Customer Service Centre, 65 Homebush Road, Strathfield or online at www.strathfield.nsw.gov.au.
