Adoption of Amendment (No.12) to Strathfield Consolidated Development Control Plan 2005

Council, at its meeting on 1 September 2020, resolved to adopt amendment (No.12) to Strathfield Consolidated Development Control Plan 2005 to incorporate provisions for greywater systems into Council’s Development Control Plans for new dwellings and multi-unit/residential flat buildings.

More specifically, the amendments will update the General Introduction and the following parts of SCDCP 2005;

  • Part A – Dwelling Houses and Ancillary Structures
  • Part B – Dual Occupancy Housing
  • Part C – Multiple Unit Housing

Pursuant to Clause 21(2) of the EP&A Regulations 2000, Strathfield Council is required to give public notice of the adoption of the Development Control Plan.  The General Introduction, Part A- Dwelling Houses and Ancillary Structures, Part B-Dual Occupancy and Part C – Multiple Unit Housing of the Strathfield Consolidated DCP 2005 and come into effect from the date of this notice on Council’s website.  All of the above Parts in relation to the Amendment No.12 of the SCDCP 2005 may be viewed online at www.strathfield.nsw.gov.au.
