Strathfield South Shopping Precinct Upgrade
Strathfield Council is embarking on an exciting upgrade of the streetscape at the corner of Liverpool and Homebush Roads in Strathfield South.
As a major thoroughfare, the area has seen some wear and tear. The new design will uplift the area creating an inviting space for all residents and visitors. Additional fencing will provide extra safety for pedestrians and local school children, and new greenery will create a more attractive area for businesses.
The streetscape upgrade will include:
- Installation of fencing along Liverpool and Homebush Roads
- Hedge planting along fencing
- Tree planting along footpath
- Restoration of existing pavers
- Awning lights
- New RMS fencing, dividing the traffic lanes
