Proposed Right Turn Changes in Strathfield
Council is proposing to install ‘No Right Turn 8-9.30am 2.30-4pm Monday to Friday’ restrictions for:
- Eastbound traffic at the intersection of Albyn Road and The Boulevarde
- Eastbound traffic at the intersection of Carrington Avenue and The Boulevarde
- Northbound traffic at the intersection of Margaret Street and Redmyre Road.
The turning restrictions aim to ease congestion and improve safety for all road users, particularly in peak hours.

Update 13 October 2020
Thank you to those residents who provided feedback. The proposal was discussed at the recent traffic committee meetings when it was resolved that Council Officers prepare a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) to be submitted to TfNSW. Once the TMP is approved and prior to the implementation, Council will undertake further notification to the community by deploying variable message signs.
