Strathfield Community Centre welcomes a Street Library!

Beautifully painted by artist Michael Thompson, a former secondary school Visual Arts teacher and a member of Strathfield Men’s Shed, the new street library will benefit Aged Day Care residents at the centre.

Residents will enjoy access to free reading material right at their door step and will have the opportunity to stimulate their minds and engage in meaningful conversations about their stories with one another.

Strathfield Council have two other Street Libraries installed at Dutton Centre and Laker Reserve.

Be an avid reader and join the Street Library movement!
